US Navy Ships Vs 10,000lb of Explosives & Missiles – US Navy Blast Sustainment Test + Ship Sinking.

Video footage shows a US Navy ship being destroyed in a live fire exercise by being hit by several missiles and the U.S. Navy conducting a 10,000 pound blast test on the USS Jackson to monitor it’s ability to survive an underwater blast.

The US Navy ship sunk by missiles was the decommissioned USS Rentz (FFG 46).

The boat sank in 5 hours after sustaining 22 missile hits, finally succumbing to hellfire missiles shots Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 12 .
