Season Two – Episode Eight: On todays episode of Great British Shooting, we return to Belvoir Castle with Ian Coley Sporting, shooting driven Partridge.

Welcome to Great British Shooting, here we celebrate all that is great about shooting in Britain. From world-renowned driven shoots on prestigious country estates, through to walked up "rough shoots" on farms and smallholdings, we meet some of the incredible characters that bring our shooting days together.

Belvoir Castle, situated in Leicestershire, was the ancestral home of the Dukes of Rutland. The family have lived at Belvoir in an unbroken line for almost a thousand years. The castles given the French name Belvoir, pronounced ‘beaver’, meaning beautiful view, remains as one of the most magnificent and beautiful Regency houses in England.

Belvoir offers the finest pheasant, partridge and duck, all reared on the estate itself, boasts over 60 established drives suitable for all levels of experience. No two drives are the same, with different locations, land topography – the natural instinct of the birds makes each and every drive a new challenge
