Yavoriv Combat Training Center. CTC trainers, partnered with Soldiers of the U.S. Army’s 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, are teaching soldiers of the Ukrainian army’s how to operate RPG-7 and RPG-22 rocket-propelled grenades, GP-25 grenade launchers and how to employ grenades from behind cover during the Battalion’s training rotation at the CTC located on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv Ukraine.
Also U.S. Soldiers conduct Basic Leader Course STX lanes at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv, Ukraine, on April 20. 40 Soldiers from the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team took part in the BLC course while deployed to Ukraine in support of the Joint Multinational Training Group – Ukraine.
Artillerymen from the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma Army National Guard supervise the firing of the Ukrainian, 122 mm, self-propelled howitzer, the 2S1 Gvozdika and multiple rocket launcher, the BM-21 Grad during a combined-arms battalion live-fire exercise held at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center. The Oklahoma Guardsmen are deployed in support of Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine, a mission geared towards training and professionalizing the Ukrainian army and developing Ukrainian combat training center staff.
