George Floyd’s murder ignited massive protests in France and renewed anger over the death of 24-year-old Adama Traoré, who also died by the hands of French police.
The French people are reckoning with their history of police brutality and racism towards the Black and Arab minority, a community that was invited to come at the end of World War II to take on working class jobs.
