The pandemic has exacerbated pretty much every healthcare issue in America––especially for Black mothers, who were already dying at 3 to 4 times the rate of white mothers. Now, giving birth has become an even more dangerous experience for Black people in this country. We speak with those trying to change this systemic issue.
