We spoke to VFX artist Chris Ume about the time his scarily convincing deepfake of Tom Cruise went viral on TikTok culminating in around 100 million views.
He teamed up with Tom Cruise impersonator Miles Fisher to create the hyper-realistic @deeptomcruise TikTok account, racking up views and sending the internet into a frenzy.
